Condition

Milia

The very small raised white bumps that can occur on the skin on the nose, cheeks or eyelids are called Milia.

They form when dead skin cells and components of skin secretions, known as keratin, get trapped and then form the characteristic white appearance.

Prevention is crucial in the form of exfoliation to remove any skin debris, but once they are formed they can be removed surgically much the same as removal of skin tags and other skin problems.

Dr Rory also recommends the Zenn Obagi skin care range to maintain skin quality.
